Key stage one recently enjoyed a highly educational school trip to the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. The children visited pirate school and explored the museum looking for treasure! Here is a slideshow of Bumble Class’s day.
Pickwick Class Assembly
Pickwick Class delivered a stunning, action-packed assembly today much to the delight of the parents and children of Key Stage Two. Their P.E. themed assembly was a true celebration of movement, balance, poise and flexibility. Congratulations to the children and to Mr. Huxley, Mrs Nash and Miss Guthrie.
All Together Now – Remembrance Assembly
The children and staff of Charles Dickens Primary School came together today for a special remembrance assembly commemorating 99 years since Armistice Day. Children across the school read their own poems on the themes of war, peace, loss and togetherness. Dedications to the dead were read in English and French and the children sang a moving rendition of The Farm’s ‘All Together Now’.
