Shakespeare Schools’ Festival Hamlet performance

On Thursday night, thirty pupils from Years Three, Four and Five performed a thirty minute version of Hamlet at the Albany Theatre in Deptford. The children have been working hard since June, learning all about Shakespeare’s famous tragedy. The performance showcased the children’s many talents as they worked together as an ensemble to create a visually stunning production. We are extremely proud of all of the pupils who gave their all on the night. Giulia, in particular, did a fantastic job, playing the title role with great assurance. We were also pleased to welcome Phineas from Year Six back as our lighting director – making this the fourth Festival in which he has participated! Many thanks to all of the parents who have been a great support in helping the children to learn their many lines – brace yourselves for more because we are already thinking about next year’s show!
