A film of the first week of building ( above ground level) of the new hall etc after a year of delay is available here. It is being constructed out of cross laminated timber ( CLT) and steel.
This week the CLT arrived from Austria along will the steel joists. You can see the full height of the building by the end of the film. It is amazing to see what can be achieved in a week.
Thank you to Jeff Leyshon and Paula Beetlestone ( Dylan’s parents) for filming this for all our school community to see. We hope to see the basic building finished by the Christmas holidays!
Finally something is happening! Looking forward to see the finishing job, am sure it will look amazing.
