Last night, twenty eight of our Year Four and Five pupils took to the stage of the Greenwich Theatre in order to perform their interpretation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. The children have been working extremely hard since the start of term, coming together to create an ensemble performance of Shakespeare’s comedy. We were amazed by how the children – the night’s youngest performers – were able to portray the complex, interwoven storylines with confidence and panache! The children sang, danced and cartwheeled their way through a story of fairies, confused love triangles (or squares) and hopeless actors. We were extremely proud of each and everyone of the night’s performers – well done everyone!
