A huge well done to everyone in Year 6 for performing a joyful, highly educational assembly today. Year 6 recently spent a week on a farm in Gloucestershire where, in their spare time, they wrote and practiced this assembly. Parents and children were treated to rapping, dancing, singing and an amusing history of St Thomas à Becket – all performed in wellington boots of course! There was even a nod to the Canterbury Tales. Congratulations to Mr. Windle, Mr. Bakis, Mrs. Taylor and of course all the children in Year 6.
Comment from my son in year 5 looking at the blog “Maman, it was amazing… it was so incredible, they had even written their very own poems!”
