Year 3/4’s Ancient Egyptian Museum!

Inspired by their trip to the British Museum, the children of 3/4 decided they would create their own pop-up Ancient Egyptian museum in the modular classroom to celebrate all their learning at the end of term! Visitors were treated to jewelry, scarab beatles, headdresses, mummified cats, mini tombs and a life-sized bejeweled sarcophagus! There were also lots of examples of the children’s writing, including leaflets about the museum and instructions for how to make a mummy. The modular was transformed into a dark, atmospheric museum, with eerie music and a hushed atmosphere. Everyone who visited was bowled over by the content and many people came back for a second viewing. Well done all the children and staff of 3/4!
