Celebration sale training at Borough Market!

This week a group of children from year five visited Borough Market in preparation for a celebration sale in November. We went to find out about selling baked goods from around the world. Anita, a chef at the market, got us to taste some delicious foods from Jamaica. This encouraged us to think about the foods we know from different cultures and how best to present them on our stall. It was decided we will prepare biscuits form Morocco, Welsh cakes, Jamaican banana bread and possibly something from Turkey. If any parents would like to bake foods from these culture for sale day we would love to hear from you. We will be raising money for Fareshare the food redistribution charity.
