Children from Year 5’s Shakespeare Club gave a tour de force performance of Macbeth earlier this week at the Shakespeare Schools Festival. In fact their delivery was so powerful that they were invited to perform in front of the whole school the next day! The children have clearly been working very hard on not only remembering their lines, but understanding the meaning behind them and acting with conviction and great feeling. The audience were both captivated and moved by the staging. A huge well done to the children who performed and a massive thank you to Mr. Leonard for teaching Shakespeare so brilliantly.
