This Monday 2 children from each class were named special ‘star of the week’ . They get a special certificate and sticker, house points and a big clap in assembly. Stars are the week are chosen for displaying the school’s values including honesty, compassion, cooperation, courage, initiative and commitment to a positive approach to learning. We also choose one child in Key Stage 1 and one child in Key Stage 2 to be ‘friend of the week’ for the kindness and compassion that they have shown to other children.
