Over the past couple of weeks, Amari and Hanako have been attending training sessions with other yr6 (G&T science) children from Southwark schools in order to prepare them for hosting a science fair at Rye Oak Primary. When Miss Chapleo visited this afternoon Hanako was leading a workshop all about coloured spinners and Amari lead an investigation into using chromatography to split different coloured inks.
At lunchtime they had a surprise visitor who brought various reptiles with him, including a snake which needed five children to hold, and a tarantula which Amari had the opportunity to hold.
