On Wednesday night, Years Five and Six hosted an unforgettable evening as their Silent Movies were finally premiered! The children dressed in their finery to host and enjoy the first screening of their wonderful films. The Year Five Six team of teachers and support staff were all incredibly proud of the children as their hard work had clearly paid off. Although each of the four films was very different, all of the movies demonstrated the children’s careful planning, plotting, designing, filming and editing. Over the course of three months, the project has woven together the children’s learning in English, Art, Music and Computing and it was great to see the pupils use their team work skills to put the films together. It would be impossible to name individual children as they all played a significant role in the creation of the movies and we hope that you are equally as proud of your talented children!
