In today’s lesson, we are going to be counting on to find the missing number in additions.
We will be using the ‘counting on’ method to find the following missing numbers (reviewing from yesterday)
If you want to write these additions in advance, it might help your child join in and reduce the need for you to watch along too!
When drawing out the additions, replace the question maths with empty square boxes for your child to write their answers in
5 + ? = 12
7 + ? = 15
10 + ? = 13
Today we are continuing to use ‘Schofield and Sims’ Get Set Adding and Subtracting
