Welcome to a new week everyone! We hope you had a fantastic weekend! We have only a few weeks left of term, so it’s a great opportunity to start thinking about what has made your Reception year special and think of the memories you will be taking forward. You can always add to your time capsule projects and gratitude jars so you can look back in years to come!

Hello Reception. We have a little 2d shape focus for you today – can you remember all of your 2d shapes? Our lesson ends with a booked called ‘Ship Shapes’ which is one of my favourites. Perhaps you could make some of your own Ship Shape inspired pictures? I would love to see them!

Happy Wednesday Reception! A little more counting practice today plus, using number lines to solve addition and subtraction problems. We are also continuing to focus on understanding the words ‘less’ and ‘more’, using a number line to help us.

For our handwriting today we’re making oceanic patterns with some waves and bouncy lines. If you have a white crayon or pencil and some watercolour paints, you can do some ‘magic’ patterns like you’ll see on the screen!
