Imagine you are on a boat. What can you see? What noises can you hear?
Here is a song about water. Listen carefully to the water flowing. Close your eyes. How does it make you feel? Can you hear the steel tongue drum?

Song of the week
Nursery rhymes are an important way to help develop your childs listening and language skills. Some of you may have your nursery rhyme booklet at home so you can practise your rhymes every week.
This weeks song is Row Row Row Your Boat. Why not make a boat with some cushions and row your boat with a family member.
Art & Music
This week’s craft activity is to create an ocean habitat using a box. You can use whatever resources you have at home, paint, pens, tissue paper, pipe cleaners etc. So get creative and have fun!
Send in pictures of your habitats so we can see what you have been up to.
We also have a lovely song for you to learn from Burkina Faso
Understanding the world
This week we thought it would be lovely for you to plant a seed. Many of you went home with a pea seed to plant. Here are some ideas for you to try and reminders of how important it is to give your seed a little bit of water every day.
- Please share photos of the progress of your seed.
- You could keep a little diary by drawing your pot every week.
- What do you think is going to happen?
Here is my seed planting guide!
We would like you to start planting seeds now so we will have some plants to look at in time for our new theme after the Easter holidays.
Plants really do take quite some time to grow. Be patient. Don’t give up on your seeds. They need you.
