Welcome to another week of virtual school Year 3! Thank you to all of you who have sent in your lovely book recommendation videos so far. Please do keep sending them in! We will keep sharing them in our daily message videos to help inspire our reading across Year 3!

Today, you are doing English (Guided Reading), Maths (lines and shapes), Science (air pollution) and Dance with Delene. Enjoy and keep your emails, photos and videos coming – we love seeing that brilliant work you’re doing at home.

We are continuing the unit on Lines and Shapes. You will be completing Lesson 6 of Chapter 13 pages 176 – 177 in your workbooks, which is making 3 dimensional shapes. You will be naming familiar 3-D shapes and matching shapes in different positions. Click here for the video that will guide you through. Remember to have your ingredients ready for tomorrow’s lesson (Plain flour, vegetable oil, food colouring, salt, warm water).

Hello year 3 and welcome back to Wednesday Wildlife watch. We are celebrating all your wildlife pictures today. Keep sending them in!!

Today, you are doing English (Muncle Trogg), handwriting, Maths (Making 3D shapes), Art (Frida Kahlo inspired self-portrait). Enjoy and make sure you keep sending in your completed work.

Last week’s answer to the riddle: What kind of room has no doors and windows? Answer: Mushroom. We had many of you who sent in your answers. Well Done!!
