It’s time for some guided reading today. What would you do if you saw a lion cub in danger? Would you rescue it? What if there were deadly hyenas surrounding you? Today’s text tells a story of a boy who faced the same dilemma.

We are looking at apostrophes in spelling today. The possessive apostrophe shows who owns something. Make sure you are focussed in the lesson because you will be using apostrophes in your handwriting too!

Ever wondered what it was like to see an invisible (beginner) ghost enter your house?
Your family experienced it yesterday, and today you will be writing their diary for them.
Put yourself in their shoes and try to picture what it was like.
What did they see? What did they hear? How did they feel?
