In English this week, we are going to write biographies about someone who inspires us. It could be about absolutely anyone!

Today’s Maths is reflectiontastic!
Watch the video to see how you could do this at home. Watch carefully for Mr Huxley bumping his knee and a guest appearance from Ms Carver!
If you have any paper at home, it might be a good idea to practise folding to get yourself familiar with folding lines.

Grammar today is all about homonymns. Watch Ms. Smith’s video and then complete worksheet 13.
In English today, we will be researching the person we are going to write about this week and taking notes in our blue exercise books.

More reflection work in today’s Maths.
Here’s a top tip – When you reflect a shape, you flip it. You can remember this because ‘reflect’ has an ‘f’ for ‘flip’ in it.
Be careful when looking at those mirror lines and, most importantly, take your time and be systematic.

Start English with a bit of handwriting practice.
Follow along with the video and write two lines of each letter and word in your handwriting exercise books.

Words; fox, zoo, oxen, fuzzy
Challenge yourself to write words that include these letters.
Our English task today is to create a ‘paragraph plan’ for each section of our biography.
