Ok, so normally we would be doing guided reading in this time slot, but you’ve worked your way through the summer pack! So, instead we’ve combined spelling unit 28 and grammar unit 28 to replace the guided reading this week. I know it’s a bit strange completing unit 28 before unit 26 and 27, but it’s ok – they’re not that related.
You can access the unit here.

French
Bonjour Year five!
This week we are revisiting previous learning, this is a great way to make sure it stays fresh in our brilliant brains. So today we will be practising our French prepositions, using a story and a song. Click here for our lesson.
Click here to download the prepositions in French and English. (but I recommend you copy them by hand, it’s good practise!)
You have already completed these a few weeks ago, but why not challenge yourself and see how much you remember?

RE
It is our last lesson looking at Christians and war today and there’s quite a lot to do!
Firstly it’s time to put your RE knowledge to the test and complete your end-of-term quiz on the two topics we’ve studied in RE.
Just fill in your name and class and have a go at the multiple-choice questions here.
Then in our RE lesson we are looking at the incredible figure of Joan of Arc. There’s a reading pack and a photo to look at and then a chance to decide if she is a good role model for Christians today.
