We had a wonderful time at Bockett’s Farm in Surrey! From riding a tractor, milking a goat, watching pig racing to stroking baby goats the children loved being on a working farm. They were an absolute credit to our school as they treated the animals so kindly and were extremely safe on our school trip. One of our favourite moments was cheering on the victorious pig, in the pig race, called Voldesnort!

Year 6 Show – Hansel and Gretel
On Friday, the children in Year 6 performed in the Year 6 show. In the imaginative retelling of the classic tale, the audience were taken on a mystical, whirlwind adventure. There were many, many highlights including musical interludes, spoken performances, visual humour and set design! Well done to everyone who took part on the night and in the preparation and build up to the special day.
Here are some shots from the show:
Sports Day
Last week we celebrated the coming of summer by having a completely washed out KS2 sports day. We managed to get through two excellent events before the heavens opened. Well done to everyone who took part and fingers crossed for better weather next time!
The story of KS1 sports day however was a lot more successful! KS1 had a fantastic day of sports and athletic challenges with not a bit of rain in sight!
A special thank you to Mrs Worley who organised the two events! Next time, spend a bit more on the weather budget!
