We have had an incredibly busy first day in Hardelot. After a very early start, we arrived safely in France without any delays. We first visited the beautiful cliffs at Gris de Nez, where we had lunch. We then visited the historic castle at Hardelot and went on a very interesting nature trail. (The weather has been glorious today.)
When we arrived at our base, the children had great fun trying to make their bed! After a very enjoyable dinner, we played lots of outdoor games and had a camp fire.
Hopefully the children will sleep well tonight and we will keep you updated about our adventures tomorrow.

Wow! It looks as if all of you have had lots of fun! I remember in year 5, when we went to Paris.
I love the big smiles on everyone’s faces. Its great that they are enjoying their adventure. Thank you to all the great teachers for organising this.
