On Saturday made an important and brave decision which has already raised over £600 pounds for charity. Megan cut off her wondefully long Rapunzel-like hair and donated it to the Little Princess Trust. Her hair will be used to makes wigs for children who have lost their hair to cancer and chemotherapy.
Megan made this amazing choice by herself and we are all incredibly proud of her. She made her choice knowing it will grow back and she wanted to help other children for whom that isn’t possible.
Megan’s locks of hair has been donated to the Little Princess Trust and money she is raising will be given to Cancer Research UK.
Megan has decided to make these admirable donations in memory of her Great Uncle Tony, Great Grandad John and Great Great Auntie Kitty. It’s also for her Great Uncle Shaun who fought and beat cancer and great grandma Mel.
