A big welcome back to all our children and their families.
The summer term has got off to a flying ( and creepy crawly) start with a visit from The Bug Man. Years 1 and 2 and The Foundation Stage ( Reception and Nursery) had the opportunity to meet and hold lots of bugs as part of their mini-beast topics. The children learnt about camouflage, feeding, relationships, adaptation and classification. Above all, it was lots of fun and will inspire writing and artwork.

Bugs from around the world crawled across the school hall including scorpions, a tarantula, giant millipedes, giant hissing cockroaches and stick insects . Have a look at the photographs and see if you can spot all the bugs – which one is missing? Don’t forget to look at the class blogs for more photographs.
