We are looking for a ‘Dad’s Band’ to play some Rock/Pop covers at the School Summer Fair on Friday 29th June. There is limited rehearsal time so we are looking for any Dad’s currently playing regularly, preferably in a band, as soon as possible please. We have drums and accordian/trumpet, looking for bass, lead guitar, keys, sax and vocals. Please contact the school office if you can help.

We would love your band to be a part of this. You were amazing at the last summer fair and we appreciate all your efforts. There is a ‘dad’ that plays the spoons and he is brilliant , I think he would gel nicely with your band. I will speak to others and let you know if and when a rehearsal time is scheduled.

You could ask Rebekka Wedell, (one of the school’s music teachers/orchestra etc and also a Charles Dickens parent, and piano maestro!).
Our band are planning to go busking earlier that day under the south side of Southwark Bridge (around 2pm) – and then play 4 – 5 at the school – would be great if any musicians want to join in too š
