Throughout this half term, 17 Year 3 pupils have been working very hard with Miss Alcock to create a creative dance piece based on their work on Floella Benjamin’s book “Coming to England.” On Tuesday, the children performed their piece in front of lots of other schools at the Royal Opera House!
The children combined moves which represented packing their belongings, the rolling waves of the sea and the London skyline, in order to retell Floella’s journey. Miss Alcock was very impressed by the children’s teamwork, creativity and dedication to the project – well done everyone!
