Today Barkis class performed their assembly to the whole school and class parents. It was a learning- packed 15 minutes with a re-enactment of the Roman invasion of Britain and Boudicca’s rebellion, with diary entries and letters written from viewpoints of the Iceni warriors and Roman soldiers. We learnt about Roman numerals and some Latin. Everybody’s favourite part was the ‘Just Like a Roman’ song!
