Last Tuesday, Years 2, 3 and 4 performed their learning from this term’s recorder lessons. Each year group performed a selection of songs learnt by heart. Learning this term also includes musical notation, rhythm and pitch. The children in year 4 have transferred their knowledge of the descant recorder to the treble. The recorder concert was fantastic and fabulous. I really enjoyed it. My mum said it was very brilliant too. Well done and kudos to all performers.More grease to your elbows.
Music is the food to the soul. The recorder concert was a great experience for me in particular, I have gained a wide knowledge in it. Playing recorder calms, relaxes and helps to express my feelings. Truely music talks.
