BOUTCHER BEATEN BEAUTIFULLY

Yesterday was an extra-ordinary day; a miracle took place in Southwark Park. As a captain, I was so happy to be part of the team that beat Boutcher 7-5. We haven’t beaten our biggest Rugby Rivals for 3 years. This year’s fixture was a very close game but Mr Cannock’s intelligent tactics combined with Mrs Taylor’s energy and drive paved our way to victory. I didn’t watch the whole of the B team’s match, but what I saw out there was determination against what I think was a different school’s A team. The final score was 11-11. It was like a daydream and all of the rugby team never wanted it to end.
