We look at the meaning of the colour red, and the different qualities of the animals of our story. We then end with a craft activity to prepare to have a little party of our own! You could make paper fans as shown in the video (using lolly pop sticks, 3 sheets of paper, red paint and glue), but feel free to get really creative and even make some crafts around the animals of the zodiac too!

This week we’re exploring our sense of touch and you may wish to have or make some playdough, ready to join in. We will think about happy memories with our friends as we focus on our senses and finish with some calming ‘rainbow breathing’ using colourful crayons, pencils or pens.

Here is a ‘no cook’ recipe for playdough if you would like to make some. It’s extra lovely if you add some drops of fragrance, such as peppermint, lemon, orange, vanilla or lavender oil!
